Khan Academy – Collection of many, many videos of math topics taught and math problem examples worked out. This site is free and very powerful. Students can register their teachers as coaches and they can work as a team.

Calcoolate – Very Cool. Does calculations, conversions, and keeps a history of your calculations. Real nice for teaching students to follow their steps in calculations without carrying around rolls of calculator tape.
Computer Flow Chart for Students interested in computer programming at Maine West – The AAT and Math departments have come together to clarify the path that students should take computer programming and science courses that will ultimately end with AP Computer Science.

Culturally-Situated Design Tools – Many cultural designs are based on mathematical principles. This software will help students learn standards-based mathematics as they simulate the original artifacts, and develop their own creations.
Desmos Free Graphing Utility – This is so cool. It is online and free. You can type in equations and even variable value sliders and it will show the graph. I could not get the export to work, but if you use a free screen capture like Jing or my personal favorite, ScreenPresso, you can still get the image into your documents.
dy/dan – Dan Meyer’s Blog on how to be “less helpful”. He has algebra and geometry links and a section called “what can you do with this (WCYDWT)”.

Problems without Figures – Great book of problems that really help students to discuss the math without being frozen of fear of not getting the correct numerical answer because none of the problems have all of the numbers to solve the problems. Some of the problems need editing due to the date the book was written, but it looks like a great resource.
